NO STICKER YARD WASTE WEEKS
Our City offers free yard waste weeks to solid waste customers to defray the cost of yard waste disposal during the spring and fall lawn cleanup seasons. The free, or "No Sticker," weeks are offered for two (2) weeks in the spring from April 1-12, 2024 and six (6) weeks in the fall from October 28-December 6, 2024. Yard waste must still be placed for collection at your pickup point on your normal pickup date in a Kraft two-ply bag or bundled properly.

GRASS/WEED RULES
From May 1 to November 1 of each year, property owners must cut or destroy all grass, weeds, vines, brush, or other growth before it exceeds 10 inches in height or within 200 feet of any developed area or urban street. In other areas, all weeds, vines, brush, or other growth must be cut or destroyed when it exceeds 2 feet. Natural areas, including, but not limited to, waterways or farmland, may exceed these height limitations. Property owners must also prevent any growth of grass, weeds, vines, brush, or other plant material which constitutes a health, safety, or fire hazard regardless of height. If a property owner fails to destroy grass, weeds, vines or brush in violation of this code, the City may hire a private contractor to do the work and charge the cost, in addition to an administrative fee, to the property owner.
